The prayers can be offered to the Lord at different times / situations.

Morning Offering

O Jesus,

through the Immaculate Heart of Mary,

I offer You my prayers, works,

joys and sufferings of this day for all the intentions

of Your Sacred Heart, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass

throughout the world, in reparation for my sins,

for the intentions of all my relatives and friends,

and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father.

Amen.

A Short Prayer

Lord help me to remember

that nothing is going to happen

to me today that You and I together can’t handle.

Amen.

Dedication of the Day

Father, I dedicate this new day to you;

as I go about my work.

I ask you to bless those with whom I come in contact.

Lord, I pray for all men and women who work to earn their living.

give them satisfaction in what they do.

Spirit of God, comfort the unemployed and their families.

they are your children and my brothers and sisters.

I ask you to help them find work soon.

Amen.

By St. Ignatius Loyola

Afternoon Prayer

Most glorious God,

As I pause in the midst of this day,
I invite You into this moment of prayer.

I ask Your pardon for any way that I have failed to love today.
For my pride, envy, gluttony, greed, lust, sloth, and anger,
I beg for Your forgiveness.

Once again, I dedicate this day to You.
I pray for humility, kindness, temperance, charity, chastity, diligence, and patience.

Help me, Lord, to listen to Your gentle voice and to trust in Your guidance and grace.

My life is Yours, dear Lord. My life is Yours. May I hold nothing back from You.
May I fulfil my duties this day in accord with Your perfect will. I love You, dear Lord.
I love You with all my heart. Help me to love You and others with all my might.

Amen.

Prayer at Night

My precious Lord,
As this day comes to a close, I take this moment to turn to You.
Help me, in this moment of quiet, to examine my day.

(Do a brief examination of conscience)

Lord, I thank You for helping me to see my sin. Please give to me the grace of humility
So that I can admit all my sin without reserve. I pray that every sin will be forgiven,
And I open myself to Your grace so that Your merciful Heart will create me anew.

I also call to mind the way in which You were present to me this day.

(Take a moment to ponder the graces God blessed you with this day)

Lord, I thank You for the blessings of this day. Please help me to see these blessings as Your divine presence in my life. May I turn from sin and turn to You. Your presence in my life brings great joy; My sin leads to sorrow and despair. I choose You as my Lord.
I choose You as my guide and pray for Your abundant blessings tomorrow. May this night be restful in You. May it be a night of renewal. Speak to me, Lord, as I sleep.
Guard me and protect me the whole night through. My guardian angel, Saint Joseph, my Blessed Mother, Intercede for me now and always.

Amen.

Short Night Prayer

Jesus Christ, my God, I adore you and I thank you for the many favours you have bestowed on me this day. I offer you my sleep and all the moments of this night, and I pray that you preserve me from sin.  Therefore, I place myself in your most sacred side, and under the mantle of our Blessed Lady, my Mother. May the holy Angels assist me and keep me in peace, and may your blessing be upon me. Amen.

A Night Prayer from St. Alphonsus Liguori

A Prayer Before Mass

Almighty and ever-living God, I approach the sacrament of Your only begotten Son Our Lord Jesus Christ, I come sick to the doctor of life, unclean to the fountain of mercy,

blind to the radiance of eternal light, and poor and needy to the Lord of heaven and earth. Lord, in your great generosity, heal my sickness, wash away my defilement,

enlighten my blindness, enrich my poverty, and clothe my nakedness. May I receive the bread of angels, the King of kings and Lord of lords, with humble reverence,

with the purity and faith, the repentance and love, and the determined purpose

that will help to bring me to salvation. May I receive the sacrament of the Lord’s Body and Blood, and its reality and power. Kind God, may I receive the Body of Your only begotten Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, born from the womb of the Virgin Mary, and so be received into His mystical body and numbered among His members. Loving Father, as on my earthly pilgrimage I now receive Your beloved Son under the veil of a sacrament,

may I one day see him face to face in glory, who lives and reigns with You for ever. Amen.

– Saint Thomas Aquinas

Spiritual Communion Prayer

My Jesus,

I believe that You

are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.

I love You above all things,

and I desire to receive You into my soul.

Since I cannot at this moment

receive You sacramentally,

come at least spiritually into my heart.

I embrace You as if You were already there

and unite myself wholly to You.

Never permit me to be separated from You.

Amen.

SHORT PRAYER AFTER COMMUNION

Sweetest Jesus,
Body and Blood most Holy,
be the delight and pleasure of my soul,
my strength and salvation in all temptations,
my joy and peace in every trial,
my light and guide in every word and deed,
and my final protection in death. Amen

Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the Power of God, thrust into to hell Satan and all the evil spirits, who wander through the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Our Father

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name; Thy kingdom come Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary

Hail Mary, Full of Grace, The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now, and at the hour of death. Amen.

Salve Regina

Hail, holy Queen, Mother of mercy, hail, our life, our sweetness, and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve: to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this vale of tears. Turn then, most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus, O merciful, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary! Amen.
